I was in Belgium very recently (3 weeks ago), but instead of riding a bike through the countryside, I took a train. It is truly a remarkable place, full of scenery and "peacefullness". :)

If you hang around long enough (and ride several hundred kilometers southewest) the Tour de France will be swinging North next week. Maybe you can blend in?

Good video, looks exactly like Ohio, about 2 miles from my house!!!

Good timing about the trains, and I agree. Tune in tomorrow for a short video clip of Belgium countryside through the view of a train window.

Lindy, I've always had a place in my heart for Ohio. The scenery of the countryside, and most importantly, the friendliness of the folks who live there, has always struck me. (Of course, I've only been there a few times).

Looks like nice mostly flat rural terrain for great bike riding. It does sort of remind me of Ohio - I lived there as a kid.
